I have a dream. I have a dream that, someday, the Human Race will be rid of it's stupidity and finally come together in peaceful unity to work together for the betterment of the entire Human Race, rather than for just a select few. I dream of a world where a white guy, a black guy, a Jew and a Muslim can all walk into a bar without it being a joke. I want to be able to watch the news and not see people taking advantage of one another, not killing each other and not hating and fearing one another. Yes, world peace is my goal, well, that or the total annihilation of Human kind before they get a chance to spread their stupidity any further. World peace would be pretty nifty, though. The core purpose of Spank That Monkey is to enlighten the Human Race on the subject of it's stupidity, to make people stop and realize that their beliefs and "logic" may be flawed in some way. Mostly, this is just my little corner of "cyberspace" to rant and bitch about the random crap that I observe in life. I know that I don't stand a snowball's chance in Hell when it comes to making people change. People don't change just because some nobody points out their errors. It takes a very traumatic, life-altering event to make people realize their stupidity. For example, it takes a stroke to get smokers to quit, a near-fatal overdose to get crack heads to quit and getting sued by someone whose life he saved to get a "good samaritan" to quit. Another purpose for this site is to provide an occasional bit of entertainment (mostly for me, but if someone else enjoys this crap, cool!). About Me! I am Will. In some gaming circles, I am Captain Morgan. Here, I am Spanky, because it is funny. I am a sarcastic, godless soul. I follow only what I know and feel to be right and if I don't know, I don't pretend to. Asking "Why?", observing humanity and learning from the mistakes made by others are some of my hobbies. The greatest irony in my life is that I am a "people person" who can't stand people. It is my opinion that, if you live and work in the USA, you should learn ENGLISH, por favor! If I offend someone with my honesty, I don't care. If I am wrong, I like to know so I can stop being wrong. But, please, back up your argument with something a little more solid than, "U R teh stupid!!11one!11!" I may be "godless", but I do not discount the possibility of the existence of some "superior being" or sacred deity. I am a mere mortal and finite human, therefore incapable of knowing with certainty whether or not such a being exists. I don't like sheep, people who blindly follow someone or something without putting some thought of their own into it. I find the use of profanity to be necessary on occasion. When talking to a native Japanese person, it helps to speak a little Japanese. Likewise, when talking to Stupid people, it helps to speak a little Stupid! Besides, I realize that profanities are just words. It's kind of dumb to allow mere words to offend you. Quotes: "People are people!" "If the truth hurts, change it!" "People are stupid.
